Who would the person selling 17 to 18 months old Charolais bulls in this week farmers guardian know they are easy calving... bit like saying I know next week lottery numbers
You do realise that the heritability of most traits is low.You do realise that lots of traits are heritable?
Dont talk b.o.l.l.o.c.k.s , some are from long lines of easy calvers . Polled ones are usually easier than most , dont blame the bull if your cows are as fat as mud or tiny framed/pelvic breed either.Who would the person selling 17 to 18 months old Charolais bulls in this week farmers guardian know they are easy calving... bit like saying I know next week lottery numbers
The advert is claiming easy Calvers so if the new owner of bull has problems with difficult calving can he claim damages... it happened a few times when we sold milk receiving a letter from MMB asking to give details about difficult or easy calving with particular bulls and we got a discount voucherDont talk b.o.l.l.o.c.k.s , some are from long lines of easy calvers . Calving is thought to be influenced 50% by environment and 50% by geneticsCalving is not always about the bull
