Or have a green tinge from their own grass coloured sh!t after being in the trailer on the way there like your Charollais straight out of the field.
Just to say they weren't covered in sh!t or anything just looked like they had been rubbing against each other like normal sheep. It was quite noticeable when the pens either side were yellow from bloom. I know which colour I'd rather have (y)

The colour & consistency of the muck in sale pens can be very telling, even with those breeders that actually remove the troughs before the buyers arrive. Hard, light brown pellets don't generally coming from grazing owt. ;)

simple rule, make your bloom up to be the same colour as this bit after you’ve put the hose on it to wash the soil off...

Had a text from a tup client last night. He'd killed 18 tup lambs off a tup bred by me, 19.67kg average: 11 x U3L, 2 x U3H, 1 x U4L, 3 x R3L, 1 x R3H. Well in front of his other Easycare lambs and similar to his Texel x lambs.

What would they be like to lamb compared to 'other easycares' or indeed texels?

Spent day dagging / cobalt drenching lambs. Flystrike still an issue here. All sired easycare and lleyns were spotless, no dirty behinds. The majority of charolais thrived well and loads weighed like lead, but the ones that didnt, were right dirty. Easycare ewe lambs have lovely tiny narrow little heads on them that bodes well for easy lambing. Overall the charolais nudged out the others for weight gain, but also needed added labour of dagging. Probably run both breeds of sires again other then lleyn who died and wont be replaced until we see how the easycares pan out.
Do do you cobalt the lambs with dirty arses to dry them up. I was trying some copper to see if that was the issue in Suffolk Cross mule lambs

I dosed then a few weeks back, so was trying something different as I spotted some scabby ears. Often think the grass can make then scour at this time of year as well. Cannt really comment about the Suffolk x as ain't got any atm.

Wondering if I should just breed them pure and sell the Ewe lambs I don't need and leave the tups entire and hang them up.

A lot of the tup lambs looked plain but they are obviously deceiving with their tails on and no wool like the mule x texels and mule x Suffolk lambs I currently breed.
A week ago my Meatmaster, shedders, looked really plain next to my Texel and TexelFinn ram hoggets, Texel and TexelFinn hoggets were shorn on Thursday and now they look really plain next to the Meatmasters, wool makes a huge difference.
