Econergy

just wondering if anybody has dealt with this company. Apparently they have secured a connection and are interested in some of my land usual thing as before. Say it will be done by 2024 offering around £1100/ per acre.

2024 seems a distance away, we only look for a 12 month option on land as the design and grid connection should be completed within the first 6 months. I'd be happy to throw my hat in the ring for this. We offer £1000 per acre with a faster turnaround. We're a UK based company from County Durham I'm on 0191 7161262.

We meet again!

I am Curious to know how much of this you have done before!?. Suggesting you only take on 12 month contracts again seems very brave given everyone else is looking at 2-3 years with long stop dates and all sorts.

Planning can take over a year easily alone.

Grid offers up and down the country are now being changed last minute, their connections promised in the next 6 months are being delayed by 2+ yrs

The government are going to realise rather soon that all this renewable energy they so badLy want to shout about is all delayed due the DNO not cracking on with upgrades.

I must have the wrong end of the stick but I’m curious by your posts since you joined TFF

Bloody ridiculous really, especially when you consider the humungous profits they make....

Amnd even when there is capacity, they take 6 months to make up their minds....

I'll gladly have a conversation offline about how we run our projects if you would be interested?

Thanks.

I'm hoping this platform is a good way to speak to farmers we otherwise would never get in touch with, I'm really impressed how active people are on here.

I'm pleased to here you're all taken care of, if you do need anything I will be on this platform from now on so I'll be happy to help.
