Edit my post

I'm trying to edit a post I made .... but can't see a way of doing it

You only have a short time to edit a post, couple of hours or so, then the edit button disappears, and cannot edit an old post

At the bottom of your post to the right of the report button is three dots and a arrow the edit buttons in the drop down menu

That's a bit naff (IMHO)
Noticed a couple of typos, but unable to do anything about it.

Unfortunately it is a case of the few spoiling it for the many in the past. We had issues with spammers joining up, posting simple 1 word posts to get past our approval queue (which is used to filter out new users posting web addresses) and then they would go back and edit there post a while later and fill it with spam web addresses for companies in China etc. Hence the shortened editing time now available for everyone. If you would like a post changing in anyway just click the report button for that post and explain what you want done and a moderator will sort it out for you it doesn't take a few seconds

Just ask a mod / report your post and they will fix

as above time limit exists to stop the vast volume of spam thrown at this forum daily
