This company are running a demonstration at Yeo Valley Blagdon on 17th August.
I understand Yeo Valley are using the system as part of their rotational grazing system .
My invitation came from Rachel Fuller Business Development manager. [email protected]
No doubt they could fit a few more in,
They are also, offering a free trial and improved terms.

I'd be interested to see how willing animals are to go anywhere near the invisible line once they've been shocked. Even moving a visible fence they can be reluctant to move past the original location if they've had a good belt off it?

Not a fan of the idea for dogs unless it is as a last resort when training, but if you could find someway to get one on the dogwalker you could solve everyone's footpath problems overnight!

What happens is that before they get a shock, they get a series of warnings so they can continue to approach the fence to locate it.

What they said is that you get a few individuals who keep checking the perimeter and get most of the warnings and nearly all of the shocks and they are the ones that lead into the next grazing area.

Mob grazed animals are less reluctant to cross old fence lines because they are so used to it.

Anyone one using efence ?
We were tempted,, just too expensive on an ongoing basis. This was via an NZ company named Halter, but same deal with monthly bill....
That, and battery life.

Fencing is cheap if done with the right materials, water infrastructure being the more expensive ingredient.
Instead we opted to just put up the fencing, our paddocks are ¼ac and cost around £22 each (that's with water included) and is largely maintenance-free (cost free) after installation.
If something gets out, it only gets to the other side of the fence... whereas with no fence, they get out and are "free"
