My Trimble 500 has not worked since yesertday dinner time. Just 2 bars and a yellow / brown satelite but the speed shows and is correct, so getting some sort of signal.

My 250 lost its green light yesterday and I haven't been able to get it back. Configured to any satellite. Changed the 750 to 136? And that seems to be ok. Suggestions please?

Was due to PRN 120 outage yesterday afternoon, came on this afternoon. Not that it matters as it is on test. It effects what systems see though.
The outage on the now test sat, PRN120 was just over 24 hours, but why it should cause some receivers to lose all EGNOS cover makes little or no sense, because the two active satellites were stable.

Loss of both active satellites should cause an outage at the receivers, not just one satellite out of three and certainly not one in test.

Makes you wonder how dodgy or poorly tested some of the software in these receivers is...

Anyone else's out again today? My ever faithful ez guide showing no GPS comms this morning. It's been alright up till now. Was expecting a problem after reading this thread. Our fm750 needed changed.

Ez guide 250. Moved to egnos settings changed to FUTURE 123 and signal went back very fast. I think 123 working in our location Lithuania better than 136. Need test self

See post #72, 123 is more towards East compared to 136. But both should cover your location, could be some local shadowing just towards 136, another spot favouring 136.

I run a 110 topcon unit and I think I’m suffering from the same problems as everyone else, the heading reading isn’t stable constantly all over the place. what’s the remedy for this?

My trimble has been working a lot better the last few days but drops out for no reason, and jumps 24 / 30 cm at times. so not as good as it used to be.

I have had many troubles with Future 136. Sometimes works sometimes not. In GPS settings choose Uncorected instead of Waas/Egnos and favour accuracy. That will fix all problems.
