My 500 did the same yesterday, I reset it and it had no coverage, I switched of the volume control ( think it was under application controls in menu)on Trimble and it worked again

Default setting for coverage in Trimble ezguide 500 is manual so if using remote switch you need to set it in system setup I think

Anyone in the North West had trouble with a ez guide 250? Mine is reading speed but wont show any coverage so don't know if it is broken or whether it is the upgrade needed. Either way I am desperate to find a solution as I have a full tank of pre em in the sprayer and three of the most awkward fields in Cheshire to spray it on. If I need to reboot the software is there anyone in the NW I could take it too as it would be beyond my computer skills?

I had mine out today in cumbria and had no problemn

Couldn’t get the satellite symbol to go green on my EZ250 today. I rang the very helpful people at AS Communications who explained to me that one of the satellites had been turned off at the moment. To get me going again for now I had to go into “GPS Setup” and change Egnos to “uncorrected”. I was advised I may loose 2-3” of accuracy. It worked though, Satellite symbol soon went green and I was able to use it. I’m still using my original firmware version from 2009 without a problem.

On this subject before the satellite changes I could use egnos signal for cultivations, on NH intellisteer, after it is just not as accurate, any ideas ? Tractor has to go in for some warranty work and they are going to update it, will this make it back to normal ? I did the satellite changes myself as it would not work at all !

I also had to switch my EZ250 to uncorrected from egnos to get it to work the last few days. Any ideas when we can switch back to egnos and if we need to change satellites which one we need to choose? Many thanks.

I have never clapped eyes on one, but in the interests of helping you out, I've just looked up the manual for the Phoenix 200 receiver.

Looks like you'll need the remote front panel (RFP) configuration software (see link to v3.4) for your laptop and a serial cable to configure the receiver from a laptop. See the knowledge-base article here for overall details.

Chapter 5 in the attached operation manual for the Phoenix 200 gives you instructions on how to get to the settings - you'll probably need to change the PRN number, as its probably still looking at the "old" satellite for correction. It needs to be set to either 123 or 136.

The receiver may also need a firmware update. There's a v3.907 firmware image for the Phoenix 200 receiver listed on the support website here.

Hope that helps a bit.
