EGNOS satellite changed

Their are 2 usb ports on the side of the Envizio Plus would the receiver be be able to be accessed from there?
Just re-read the knowledge-base article posted above.

You must connect to Port A on the interface cable going into the receiver to update it. Use a standard USB to serial adapter cable as per my PM. See diagram below.

Thanks, I had all the cables hidden inside the roof identified port A yesterday just to get the proper cable now ,update first then select 123 or 136 being in the west of Scotland is their any likelyhood of 123 being the best choice ?

I put a post up earlier in the thread which shows the relative positions of 136 and 123. Both should give you fairly strong signal, but 136 being more due south (relative to mainland UK) tends to give (me at least) a stronger signal. There's about 2 or 3 dB in it. If you're not familiar with logarithmic scale, 3 dB is a doubling of signal strength.

The other reason for choosing PRN136 over PRN123, based on your location, is that the signal beam from satellite SES-5 is at a better, higher position in the sky (about 26 degrees elevation) compared to the ASTRA-5B satellite (about 19 degrees elevation).

It’s still not ideal, and there’s not a huge amount in it, but the signal from PRN136 is slightly less likely to be obscured by any obstacles that could get in the way.

I don’t work for Trimble so I can’t do that.

Here’s a download link for the EZ-Guide 250 and 500 software:

Install at your own risk...it worked fine for me.
Language files are optional.
English language is included in the main software file (.img) by default.

Thank you, I spent a couple of hours looking for this file online earlier today. Should have looked on the trusty TFF first.

Just got to find a flash drive that it will actually recognise now, it doesn't like mine.:(
