These are good old solar energiser but discontinued, they keep clicking all year http://www.easyanimal.co.uk/hotline-helios-solar-powered-energiser.html#.V02zX4-cHcs

May try the new drake version

They are dear but when you think about cost of battery and bolt on solar panel theyre not so bad. As long as they keep going...
But at 0.65 J that's not really in the same league as the 3.5 mvf own brand one.

Just seen a couple of decker artics dump a whole load of steers into the field next to me. I know f**kers factoring the estate couldn't give a sh!t, the fence (which was pathetic when it was put up) is now knackered. Reckon I'm on my own so planning a single strand along the top to keep the buggers off it. I've got mains handy and although it's only a very short stretch I want to give them a right good zap from the off, overkill is good:sneaky:.

What mains charger(s) should I be looking at?

A friend was saying last night he had cattle destroying his brand new sheep wire so he's put single wire 1metre away from the sheep fencing to stop the cattle getting at it. He's on mains. http://www.kiwikit.co.uk/pel-415i-mains-energiser/ That's what He bought or maybe the 1 up again. "Best thing I've ever bought" were his words :)

Believe me I'm tempted. There's the usual limmyx spooky nutjob charging along out front, all boggle eyes and pricked ears, couple of charx and simx strolling along further behind the stampede
