How effective is an electric fence for keeping goats in?

Works well, neighbour uses it. Keep it sharp though!

.....And maybe 5 lines, of good quality wire.

And Maybe a training paddock but I suspect would be cheeky enough to forget the training if the later fences werent up to scratch...

went round a goat farm, on a farm walk, they had given up on letting goats graze, 7 strands, big mains fencer, they said the nannies worked it out in a week, billies completely ignored it ! Took days to get rid of that vile goatie smell. Another chap milking goats, keeps them inside, reckons to much hassle to let them out !
