Bet that's not a very high joule tho at a guess?Mole were knocking out new energisers for under £100 inc vat, probably better value..
when he repaired ours he also made the portable units adaptable for 12v batteries as well as fencer 9v batteriesI send to AL (Arran Lange) Electric Fencing repairs up north, usually back within 2-3 weeks.
3.5 J.Bet that's not a very high joule tho at a guess?

Mines just gone dicky unfortunately. Working intermittently...Far from it. The ones that sold to a lot of TFF members over the space of a weekend, after a mention on here, are 2.5J dual power units. I’m certainly happy with the two I bought, especially at the price:

I’m up too 6 now might have a couple more for spare you can’t go wrong at that price! The rappa 2 joule ones I buy normally are like £150 now … and the Voss ones take 2 months too come so god help me if I ever have a problem with one3.5 J.
I got 3 the other day, @Mc115reed must have bought a container full by now

Yeah I had noticed the on off switches were the same on all 3 so assumed they’re probably all made in the same place just put in different shells for the sellerI suspect the RAPPA Defender (also a good value unit) and the MVF ones are actually made by VOSS. They share a lot of the same switches & connectors.
Very happy if they are. My two VOSS units have been faultless in 7 years.
Does he repair speedrite units, have one which is working but only putting out 5000v on max and chews through a 120ah battery in a week on 500m of triple fencing.Try Dave King at Snitterfield, near Stratford.
Never taken one to them, but they seem to be wizards on anything electrical.Does he repair speedrite units, have one which is working but only putting out 5000v on max and chews through a 120ah battery in a week on 500m of triple fencing.
Might be best bet. Local agri supply firm (BATA) does repairs or have someone they use. Took one in recently and cost of repair was too close to buying a new. They did a useful discount on new one which came with 2 years warranty. Think they are in more danger of being pinched than having a faultMole were knocking out new energisers for under £100 inc vat, probably better value..
