go for a good quality galv. , rappa good does not curl back onto it self if left on ground , the alloy stuff tried in the past was very soft and broke easy .
Aluminium breaks down in sunlight and goes brittle and you end up with 4 inch lengths on the ground, which the pigs then bury.
Solid galv wire is much better, although a pain to tighten. I have some that has been up 15 years and has no signs of wear.
I tie strips cut from white bags on the wire just as a reminder of where the fence is, and this seems to work well (and is cheap!). Also reminds me where not to go with the brushcutter!
