I would like to introduce myself. My name is Gary Flanagan and I have lived in Manchester all my life. I am 31 years old,employed as an electrician and married with with one child.i have been metal detecting over the last year, mainly on beaches (never had my own permission).
I am posting here in hope somebody will be willing to grant me permission to detect there land.
In return I can offer my electrical skills to help you and hopefully help each other!!
I respectfully ask that you consider allowing me to metal detect your property. I will always respect your privacy and your property if allowed to detect on it. I only cut a small flap of soil, flip it back, retrieve the item, then re-fill the small hole without any trace I was there. I also remove any rubbish or debris from your property that I recover (such as buried nails, bottles, rusted iron, etc.) I would also do research into your land and the surrounding areas, to find out as much history as possible.which may also be of interest to you.
