I signed up for 20p peak 15p off peak
5 year deal. Started march21. Regreted it immeadiatly but now feel much happier.

My broker is hopeful the govt surcharge will reduce 1p in next few months. Its a big rumour amongst those in the biz apparently.

My price is a pass thru price so i will feel the benefit/pain if/when surcharges alter

I fixed 5 years too, managed to commit to it 6 months before our contract was due to renew, and we are now 6 months in…
Similar sentiment at the time, when getting quotes for the ground source heat pump the salesmen thought I was a fool as the prices were so high and there is no need to fix for so long - I guess I’m just a lucky fool at least.
