I wonder how comfortable Ellie feels when walking through Southwark, Luton or any other conurbation with a high proportion of ethnics. Of course the resident population can’t be racist because they aren’t white.

Round here there’s loads of non native Scots integrated into the rural community, in positions of responsibility, liked, respected, integrated and settled. Or does it not count when the diverse mix of countries of origin are white skinned so get lumped in with native population. If that’s the nature of her point, then it’s a fairly racist assumption in itself.
People are people, more and more these bed wetting media crusaders making everything into race issues are creating issues purely for their own ends.

Look if someone in a town is racist it doesn't make the town racist. If someone shopping in sainsbury is racist it doesn't make the whole supermarket racist. So it a just daft. The countryside tends to be 95% white - it's neither good or bad. It just is what it is.
Yes there are some overtly racist people about (I actually say everyone in the world is a little bit racist because they tend to be tribal ). But racism is on the way out and has been for years. The vast majority of people got over race about 30 years ago plus if not more
We are fighting ghosts when people claim there is "implied" racism or lived experience racism etc.

its not us being racist as much there just so thin on the ground you poss react diff when you see coloured folks
ive had many a dealing with non white people & found them all no diff to us lot.
They do get tarred with the same stick unfortunately when there call centres from far away lands constantly bombard us with spoof calls tho
hardly doing themselves any favours there. And you wonder why we get our backs up.

Again race is irrelavant. Its the cold calling you don't like its nothing to do with race, its to do with labour being cheaper. You presumably would feel the same being cold called by a white londoner?

On this issue people should get their DNA checked out,some could be in for a surprise.My family tree has been checked back for nearly 500 years and my ancesters probably came acrosss from Normandy. My childrens DNA has shown up some traces of Middle Eastern & Scandinavian through their mothers lineage.
