Recently sold the stock just deciding what to do with the buildings
All decent size steel framed sheds with good access doorways etc.
Any ideas welcome
Wondering about pigs or broilers or turkeys
Thinking something on contract so with a guaranteed end price. So can budget.
Thank you

I was just about to start a thread with this title so would be interested in any ideas as well. I’m in a similar position, good quality shed space, secure and with mains power. Someone suggested hiring the space out for training events etc...but that would involve allowing people on the farm, not sure how I feel about people! Sorry for the hijack

Hi Magik!
I've done some work on permitted development and diversification that could make use of your shed - I'd be happy to chat about potential ideas with you?

There's not much non agricultural diversification you can do that doesn't involve people on the farm. You soon get used to it. If its business units they only work 8 - 6 max and only a 5 day week. Get some controlled access in place and reap the rewards.

Long term storage with very little visits are the best. Get them to sign a bank form direct debit monthly. If they dont sign it at the start you know they will not pay. Their risk too
