Our plastic recyclers take them, and sharps.
Provide proper containers for them and collect with the plastic waste.

Vets have the sharps for obvious reasons but nobody has ever said take the empty bottles back. Do the vets charge for this or are they obliged to take them back

I buy biggish coffee jars, big enough that you can get 2x 100ml glass bottles inside and put the lid back on, a standard light bulb also fits in said coffee jars When I was putting the medicine bottles and light bulbs out with the glass collection they would leave the bulbs and bottles, now their none the wiser

I get DOOP and sharps bins from a farm supplies company who also do the service for vets.

Sharps to the Vet, glass have the tops levered off, rinse the content and incinerate, recycle glass.

Plastics go to dustbin as there is so little of it.

going along time back we had one of those really really hot bonfires - big bast.. - got it really going then hoicked the bottles on... then left for a long brew an biccy... the bangs and pops were fantastic... as im sure the glass shrapnel was...
