Enduramax tank repair?

Stupidly, I tried to pick up my 10000lt horizontal tank today forgetting it had got about 3500lts of liquid fert in and it pulled the d shackle straight through one of the lifting lugs on the top.
No what, how do I repair it so I can lift it? I tried to put some fibre glass repair on it (badly) but it didn’t hold.

I could try and do the fibreglass repair again and try and make a decent job of it this time but what are my other options?

Only going to need to lift it one more time to get it into its final resting place so it only needs to hold for this one lift.

Give Enduramax a ring and ask to speak to their technical department. They will probably be able to suggest how to repair it.

I've always found technicians very helpful. I gather the tanks are made of polypropylene and plastics are notoriously difficult to repair because there are so many different compounds -- but there will be a solution. Or can you put a strap around it?

We had a new tank delivered from them earlier this year, it arrived partly hanging over the back of the lorry, and it was split. Sent them photos of it on the truck which they agreed was their fault. The point of this story is that they came out and repaired it on site, so they may be able to do the same with your tank.
