Endurance wind power declare bankruptcy

Well, it says on your website that your company is an "Endurance Authorised Service Provider" so surely you'll be offering a fix for these cracked towers?

We have only just been made aware of this problem.
Our engineering team is having a look at fix solutions.

Haven't read this thread in detail so don't know whether this has been mentioned. I have just had an update email from EWT with the announcement that they will be offering a support package to Endurance owners. As the owner of an EWT turbine I have been very impressed by EWT's service. Hopefully this news will be positive for Endurance owners.

Is that a typo ?? Or have you REALLY HAD good service from EWP them ? Its possible I guess but you must be pretty rare or extremely lucky

Well i have not had any notification from them at all, not about there demise or any update since the bankruptcy it would be hard to handle anything worse in my opinion.
OH other then write to me informing me that i have an outstanding invoice for a service contract from last year they are not delivering any service on ! And the previous service contract was not even full filled.

At this late stage quite what, if anything the receiver thinks they can glean from EWP 's demsie i am not sure .

Its a shame really , the goverment have not helped at all , but EWPmanagment was over subscribed by a factor or 3 every one seemed to be called a president, or a senior or vice director etc etc.
in essence way to many chiefs not enough indians.

Do you mean EWT or Endurance?

EWT were at Energy Expo. There are asking for 2.5p/kWh - so around £5k/year. But the guy on the stand admitted he knew nothing about the E-3120!

Oh, and £9k upfront to install a DEIF controller!

EWT is financially a very strong company with a lot of field techs in the UK. I think getting into Endurance O&M is a smart move on their part and didn't come as a huge surprise to me. I think it should give some long-term comfort to owners of e and x series turbines also. I don't think their offering will be for everyone but good luck to them I say.

I don't think they will attract much
business at that price!

Also worrying that they know nothing about the product they are servicing....

Smacks of desperation to me as EWT aren't selling as many turbines these days.
