Does anyone need a gearbox for an E-3120? I am about to order and get a better discount if I multiple order, savings to be had if anyone needs one.

Heard rumour that a group of turbine owners are starting a non profit co-op for service/maintenance/parts for Endurance turbines. Has anyone got any details as I want to get in touch with them? Fab idea to have turbine owners in control of their own destiny.

Ha ha ha - farmers are by their nature jacks of all trades but that would take matters to a whole new level !

When I was in a trade I used to love it when the customer bought his own parts to save a few quid because I could charge more for my labour and importantly if the part failed I was back on the pay sorting it out !!

Your right, would be funny but think co-op is intended to be whole UK undertaking with fully trained Endurance techs to perform service. If owners club together, big opportunity to see value back on our investments.

Would the endurance techs not have jobs sorted already?
Is this not the whole point of the 5 dealers clubbing together.

45 Endurance UK staff have lost their jobs, Hallmark techs lost their jobs, Mosscliff techs lost their jobs and who is next? Each time, turbine owners get stung. Hard to see how 5 dealers 'clubbing' together will give us better servicing, lower cost or protection from the next liquidation. I guess I am cautious as just paid out £6000 in September, direct to Endurance and have received nothing in return and now being asked for next cheque for service now due. Hoping there is a better way for everyone.

I see that the NFU are dropping turbine insurance cover, and will be subbing it out to other companies from now.
Any recommendations of insurance companies to look for quotes from direct, or is it best to stick under the NFU umbrella (I highly doubt it!)
