RENEWABLE ENERGY EVENT FOR FARMERS AND LANDOWNERS 2015

Energy Now Expo is a two-day event specifically designed to bring together farmers and landowners from all over the UK to engage with industry experts on increasingly relevant renewable energy developments.

Being held in association with the CLA and NFU, sponsored by NatWest & Lombard and supported by ADBA, Anglia Farmers, the BPVA, BHA, REA, GSHP, NNFCC and Woldmarsh, the Energy Now Expo showcases the latest renewable energy opportunities available.

A highlight of Energy Now Expo is the two day multi-stream conference, where industry experts will present and discuss the latest advances, opportunities, and best practice advice.

Headline speakers featured are: Amber Rudd MP, parliamentary under secretary of state at the department of energy and climate change; Jonathan Scurlock, chief renewables adviser, NFU; Reza Shaybani, chairman, BPVA; Charlotte Morton, chief executive, ADBA; Michele Spillar, head of renewables, Met Office; Nina Skorupska, chief executive, REA; Mark Newton, partner, Fisher German; Lydia James, chartered legal executive, Agri Advisor; Tony Bowen, past-president, Heat Pump Association; Steve Edmunds, director, Mole Valley Farmers; Simon Hamlyn, CEO, BHA; Hiten Sonpal, director, Lombard Green Finance, and Jacqueline Balian, head of RHI operations, Ofgem; Steven Gough, innovation and low carbon network engineer, Western Power Distribution.

The 2015 event will also include:

· An exhibition of more than 160 product/service suppliers representing the length and breadth of the renewables market;
· A low emission vehicle zone, where electric, hydrogen, gas and other low-emission vehicles will be on show;
· A renewables advice clinic,where experts will be on hand to discuss visitors’ projects;
· A grid connection workshop, providing participants with the opportunity to discuss grid connection issues with experts.
