Yes correct oil, it's using quite a amount. T7 230, been ploughing and pulling the top down recently, after a bit of research it could be something to do with the breather maybe ? Any way of checking that ?

I had this on my t6.160 not long after its 1200 hr dealer service on heavy pto work it started to use 2l of engine oil a day and would got from the max to below min marks on the dipstick in a couple of days. Now it had always had 15w40?? Ambra engine oil in it and I noticed that this time they put 10w30?? Low ash oil in and I was blaming that. When i queried it apparently it should be run on the low ash oil. On light work oil consumption was livable but still on the high side compared to previous. I mentioned it to the service manager this spring and he told me to live with it till the next service and they would change the breather filter in the rocker cover. They did this and it has returned to normal. They say the wrong engine oil blocked up the filter quicker than it should and this causes excessive oil consumption. They have looked after this tractor from new and brought what I assumed was the correct oil with them !!

Ps I can't the remember the correct oil grades and its persisting down out ?? and can't be arsed to go and check so hence the question marks next to the oil grades ??
