Has come on on my 2 year old nissan pickuk, battery has not much power either. how to get light off? other than waste half a day at dealers.
Just make sure that the replacement battery does actually meet OEM specifications.I'd consider sticking a new battery on first.
I've multiple code readers here if you want to have a play yourself.
egr getting dirty....Isuzu pickup and skoda yeti occasionally put check engine light on. Haven't figured out the yeti cause but pickup likes a few seconds to collect its thoughts after starting before i set off. Usually goes out after they've been stopped and started a few times. A failing battery might cause it to come on, might be worth charging overnight with a smart charger. But wasting half your day going to the dealers computer would give piece of mind..
Must say that an average of 44 miles per week is unlikely to keep emission control systems clean….egr getting dirty....
