Entitlements error

Can anyone offer any advice on the following.

We have just noticed an error with entitlement allocation which dates back to 2005 which appears to have been made by Rpa.
Basically we were given 30 hectares less than we should have received and obviously this relates to a significant loss over the past 13 ish years.

Does anyone think I stand a chance with rpa to reimburse losses and can suggest the best approach. I’m guessing someone will hit me with it’s more than 6 years so tough luck!!

Thanks

If it is on your claim form and you have not been paid it you may have a chance, if it has not been on your claim form you have zero chance. It will blow their minds trying to resolve it either way.

Thanks for reply, by a miracle they sent me a copy of the claim form for 2005 which i was amazed they still had, it was only claim for when submitted !

I have just identified where error on 2005 SPS application which my father completed was made. You can see from the attached copy he put an x in the boxes he thought he was amending with the revised acreage but hadn't realised this was the delete field box.!!!! I think I know what you are all thinking-- NO CHANCE- but can anyone suggest how to approach RPA to try and recover some losses or at least the entitlements lost. My guess this loss has cost the farm over £75k since 2005. I know its our fault and not sure how my dad never noticed error until now but it was a very genuine mistake back then. Hopefully someone can suggest something positive? thanks
