I was quoted £4.90 for Toxo the other day. I can’t afford to Enzo as well since they started cranking up the cos5 of Toxo. I certainly would if I was buying in replacements though.

Mine is from my vet. Online isn’t much cheaper once you factor in the refrigerated shipping and the scrip from your vet.

Farmacy price for Toxovax is £5.30/dose. At that price I think for the first time ever I won't be buying any. Have always done replacements for Enzo and Toxo but now a closed flock and thinking that it's too expensive. Doing Campyvax for the first time so got to draw the line somewhere

Closed flock won't avoid toxo, closed flock would make a difference with Enzo alright

just out of interest, have you had Campylobacter diagnosed or just wondering, case of if all else fails?

Injected my ewe lambs last week Enzo was available straight away Toxo was a 10 day wait

Yes I know. I'm sure I'm taking a risk but at over £5 a dose I think it's too much. If we keep buying it they'll keep increasing the price. If I could be certain of lamb prices in 12 months time...

Yes, two years ago we had a horrendous abortion storm and had nearly 20% of ewes abort. We've started vaccinating this year and decided to drop Enzovax now that we're a closed flock.
