Equipment for strip till and cover cropping?

I've become extremely interested in the strip till concept and incorporating cover crops. My father has always been using a conventional plough based system for establishing our cereals but it seems like he is starting to come round to the idea. We have around 200 acres of cereals each year on a loam soil type and right now our equipment is a jd 6910s, jd 3350, 6.3m cambridge roller, 21m sprayer, jd 1072 combine, claas round baler and a 3m accord and rabe one pass. We sold our plough a few years back.

If we were to go towards strip till what sort of equipment would we need?
Considering our hp, is there a drill anybody could recommend? (A claydon hybrid or weaving sabre tine etc.)
I presume we would need some sort of stubble cultivator, any recommendations? We had been looking at the horsch joker with the mini drill system for establishing the cover crops.
Is there a drill that would do cover and cash crops?

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

I would strongly recommend Claydon 3m hybrid.
We’ve been using one for 5 years now to drill everything. Osr, cereals, beans, linseed, covercrops. Autumn or spring established no prob.
The drill is part of a system though and needs a level, firm surface to get the best results.
You will find however that over time your land becomes more level and is able to withstand traffic much better. With little if any rutting.
Personally on our own soils, which are very heavy magnesium clays. I prefer to ‘scratch’ a tilth with a very light cultivation to get weeds/volunteers to germinate then straw rake a couple of times prior to drilling early October. This way the drill has a little more tilth to work with. But if your soils are more forgiving this may not be necessary.

Hope this helps
