Any one else finding the outside air temps very erratic during the last 10 days, as one hour one needs one overalls on and then the next hour sun feels really warm and can be in one’s shirt sleeve!!:scratchhead:
Seems such extremes in such short space of time, real catch cold weather.
Even being having the wood burner going in the evening.

Think it's been more than 10 days , grass seeds coming through have taken a right beating going yellow, runner beans in garden have died through windchill !

There must be hell of a lot of losses in the market garden / veg production side in the country.

Never known anything quite like it killing off plants this time of year .

I have never known June temperatures in the day to be so low in the south of England.
Today at 4pm it was only 11'C and now at 9.00 pm it is 8'C and raining.

Looking ahead it will be a while before it gets above 16'C. but nights as low as 7'C. Never seen this before that I can remember.

The northerly originating air mass we’re encountering is cold, but the sun is strong, it’s a minute by minute battle, who’s winning mostly depends on wind speed and/or cloud cover.
