Wouldn't risk jabbing them in this manner...been told by people in the fertility field of agriculture it's mostly a waste of time and money. If cattle aren't at the right point of their cycle a jab of estrumate or anything similar can cause them to go "cystic" (or basically not cycle properly afterwards) and cause more problems for fertility - been told anything around 50% is lucky.

If you want to be able to blind Ai or even have a group with strong standing heats in a certain time frame get a proper synch programme going with Cidr/Prids.

Sorry.... I've got the answer.
The OP could get Franks rig, and get the vet to vasectomise whatevers lurking therein.
Bingo! it doesn't look like a bull, can't get anything in calf, will show who needs the AI man day to day, and Frank would reluctantly part with it for just over killing - prior to snip.
result!

Cidr and receptal day 0. Cidr out and estrumate day 7. Receptal day 9 pm. Ai 16 to 24 hours later. This will get them all served. Conception rate 50 to 70%. Keep the hormones in a cool place out of sunlight.

If say had 40 suckler cows and usually run a bull but bull no longer a option.
Could house cows for few days, estrumate them and tail paint them and have AI on speed dial for 2 to 4 days later🤷‍♂️
How successful would that be?
Looking at the cost of stores now and having done this before I would say buy another bull For 3k

Natural service is not a option
basically, your options boil down to very few, a full sync program, a cheaper sync program, getting 50-60% i/c, or putting i/c cows there. Not really sure if such a high rate of empty cows, in todays economics, is viable, could you put other classes of stock there. Or can you afford to lose the income, from those empty cows.

don't call it a bull, its gender neutral, or 'not sure', even a transsexual
I think it is rather species-ist for us to presume what gender an animal identifies with, why is the cattle tracing service insisting I "assign" a gender for my calves at birth? I had a calf born yesterday, and to be honest, I am feeling a bit uncomfortable at being forced by legislation to assign a gender when I register it today!
