You can imagine all the vegans that have paid for carbon offsets only to find out that to protect their offsets they are killing deer.

are we approaching a time of ethical carbon, or do people still just not understand that all our interactions with nature kill something, be they slugs or deer?

For certain you will not grow any broadleaved trees with controlling the deer. Either monstrous fences a minimum of 8 ft then you can be certain Joe public will be up in arms unless there are access gates for them to prop open so their pooch can walk through, then cut a hole alongside when the gateway is too muddy.
So I an afraid Bambi will have to be for the chop.
Far better of course to grass it all down, a proven superior alternative to growing trees, sheep the lot and pooch can chase them to his heart content, a win win situation for all, or perhaps not

Need some wolves, don't they? As I understand it, without an apex predator, culling is the only solution.

Always amuses me how these "Rewilders" totally deny human nature.

Of course humans are apex predators without parallel.

The very fact vegans deny their position within nature speaks volumes about their state of mind.

The real truth about all these calls to muck about with nature is the fact they have far, far too much time on their hands. If they had to farm their own food their perspective would be vastly different.

Most vegan try to eat organic as well.
Great fun to mess with their head by telling them most organic is grown on mixed farms or ones that use animal manure as fert.
So their organic food is from farming animals!!
