Norway isn't in the fudgeing EU :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Correct it isn't. Norway has free movement of EU citizens and pays into the EU coffers. It is also unique in that is is awash with oil, exports power to Sweden and holds 5% of the worlds stocks. Not really comparable with the U.K.
To the best of my limited knowledge no country within the EU has been at war with another country within the EU since its formation.
With Gibraltar voting to stay in Europe what happens to them post Brexit. Should they now become part of Spain? Geographically it makes perfect sense.

It would great if the world was one big happy place but its just not human nature, we are a tribe species look at sports we love to hate the other local team but mostly get on with their fans on an idividual basis, being forced together into a us of europe isnt going to end well, if the eu went back to a purely trade group I and I believe many leave voters would sign up for that happily, the way things are moving to more free trade deals across the world maybe the eu will have a sell by date anyway, less government and thus less cost is something I think most can agree on, except of course those on the gravy train from all sides of the political spectrum

Do we really want to go back to a tribal culture where you raid the neighbouring village raping and pillaging?

Interesting analogy sport. Where you all abide by the same rules and if something happens you don't like you can always blame the ref. Sounds very much like the EU

The UK as a tribe is fine. However Labour created new tribes with political regions, which has led to abrasive politics.

We don't want a tribal culture but we've imported them in the millions.

Rotherham
Oxford
Newcastle
Derby

To name a few.

I was looking at a report from EU finance, for 2015 year.

The net figure for the UK was €21,409,300,000. Or in £ 367,604,739 per week. Current exchange rate.
This takes into account uK rebate vat payments etc.

So why are the news papers not publishing this information easy the find on Mr Google.
Because it's misleading.

The claim is false on two bases:

1. The National Statistics Agency has calculated that the figure, net of repatriated receipts, is about £250 million a week.

2. It takes no account of the impact on the economy from changes to trade after leaving the EU - this is likely to be far bigger than savings from the UK’s membership fee. This explains why the Conservatives sponsored EEC membership in the first place.

Brexit supporters never advert to the fact that, if it occurs, many of the activities paid for by this fee will have to be replicated by the UK.

Reality Check: if the EU employs 47,000 civil servants to run the single market, etc, how many civil servants will the UK have to engage to replicate these duties?

And at what cost?

And this isn't racist?

Gibralter wants to remain in the UK but would like the EU border open, Spain does not.

As with all things the UK is happy to follow the wishes of the people of the regions, it's up to them not me or you.

Perhaps Spain should give up it's territories as well then ?

Of course if you were running a government rather than a PC Liberal whitewash you would want to keep your strategic military locations to spread your influence over foreign threats.

Repatriated receipts are conditional on where the spending happens and on what.

For example in Wales they built a hill climbing railway and a few statues ... when the people of Wales wanted schools, colleges and training to capture the skills being taken by immigrants.

Having your own money spent on things you DONT want by a foreign dictatorship ... pretty idiotic at best.

Of course the "repatriation" monies, if they exist at all, are not guaranteed on a day by day basis. I doubt your figure includes mandatory EU support exercises which the UK was forced into, such as supporting Greece, EU "Foreign Aid" and the Euro.

You are not a farmer, are you? Otherwise you would realise that some of those repatriated funds include the BPS.

If you don't mind me asking, what, precisely, do you do?
