Those grants have all come from the same total pot though, just distributed in a different way. The 15% modulated from the Welsh SFP has funded those grants and paid for all the advisers earning a living through Farming Connect.
Robbing Peter to pay Paul if you like.;)


I don't understand how some on here can't understand how these payments and "schemes" work. It's not new money, or extra money... it's from the single block of sub which comes from the EU which Westminster negotiated on our behalf. Which is the lowest in the EU.

A fair % of Scotland is bare rock. That's why it is worth less per ha.

You do realise we have the same people out up here with GPS packs measuring and deducting areas of land which is ineligible as what you have down south.

We also have massive tracts of land which have no payment history on, because it has never been 'farmed' so the entitlement could never be claimed.
