EU sausage war

Exactly the point. There IS a settlement. It’s called the Good Friday Agreement. It details how NI constitutional status can be changed in the future, or not as the case may be, through a border poll. It has also effectively negated the border with the ROI as a permanent pain in the ass for all those who live there.
It has brought decades if peace and stability. There can never again be a hard border there.
NI have the best of both worlds , what's the problem , unfettered access to us and the EU .

EXACTLY. No doubt there is a lot of deprivation and unemployment, and it’s probably worse in loyalist areas than nationalist. It really should be the job of all the politicians to sell the benefits of the “best of all worlds”, which NI now is. They should be luring companies from GB to give them easy access to EU and they should be luring companies from ROI to give them better access to GB.
All Bozo has to do is sign up a SPS deal with the EU, to sort out the protocol problems, and throw a few fist pumps at the TV camera to claim victory for her majesty.
It really is that simple. Why the fkukk people don’t see sense I’ll never know.

I've said it before , the shortages in NI are due to lack of enthusiasm from the mainland , basically can't be arsed for the amount involved .

Here's a couple of facts , 3x more checks in NI than Rotterdam and 2x than Calais . sad ain't it .

It is sad, stupid and signed up to, but also resolvable. SPS deal. Move on to the US free trade deal. Biden has cleared the way.
They won't do SPS , mainly because the EU could change the standards , and probably would , like I say take 5 years to clear ourselves from the EU .

NI dont not have unfettered access to the uk
I'm one that has been affected
i wa saposed to get seed potatoes out of scotland this spring but you can import them from scotland into NI so hows thst unfettered acess

You would have smooth access if the provisions of the agreement were implemented in full. It’s the British governments unwillingness to honour its avowed agreement in full which is the real issue.

Rubbish. Your clueless as to what is actually happening on the ground. In theory there should be no difference sending produce to Greece then sending the same product to NI but in reality there is. The EU have gold plated the NI route to make imports as difficult as possible purely on political grounds I presume as a step to reunification of Ireland.

No need whatsoever for EU to push a United Ireland. The DUP are doing all the heavy lifting in that regards. Irony of ironies…

The border is now in the Irish sea as agreed by Boris Johnson and his cabinet. It's about time they stopped p!ssing about and get the protocol working for the good of business in NI. All the UK government needs to do is either agree to follow the EU's SPS regulations or if that's not acceptable get on with allowing the EU to monitor the supermarket delivery systems.
