Forget what Ursula says, there is division in the EU about the way we are being treated and the pro and anti UK factions are well defined. There is not unanimous support for the current stand offs One day the chickens will come home to roost.

Oh deary, deary me. EXACTLY the same has been said about EU unity, right from referendum day. What turned out of course was absolute rock solid EU unity on one side, and a squabbling flock of turkeys on the UK side. And so it continues….

There is plenty of UK chicken that is not chlorine washed which I would trust far sooner than some of the poor quality meat products coming out of the EU. But then you do not support UK agriculture and perhaps should move to the EU where all is wonderful.

Europe will preserve its single market. Full stop. Don’t matter a whit who is in charge in either France or Germany. Both of those countries benefit from the single market, as do all members.
We've got no problem with the single market , Ireland have done well to stay in it considering the shite Larry hawks around Europe

How much chlorine is used in EU salad production? Those bags of shite they send over last about 15 minutes once opened.

The Moggster, how many do you want, him and Gove. Google is your friend.

He warns her( May's) chance of a lucrative deal with the outside world will be wrecked unless she breaks free.

In a hard-hitting report, he urges Mrs May to spend less time bartering with Brussels and focus on countries who can deliver cheaper food and clothing — such as the US, India, China and Brazil.

In the report, backed by 60 MPs, Mr Rees-Mogg says removing tariffs on imported food would produce an instant benefit for Britain’s poorest.

Mr Rees-Mogg, tipped as a future Tory leader, said: “Brexit is a great opportunity for the UK to build a new independent trade policy that delivers jobs, cheaper food and clothing — an immediate Brexit dividend for the British people.
In case you havent noticed may hasn't been pm.for two years and mogg isnt a minister, the world has moved on in that time, it appears only the remainers are stuck in 2016, I'm surprised you haven't mentioned chicken drowned in chlorine yet, Icould mention horse meat instead of beef, or emissions from cars, I have no problems with high standards but for me there has to be a justification for rules not some stupid mind set,.

Yet everytime you have a glass of water you drink chlorine everytime you drink milk it comes from equipment washed in it everytime you get in a swimming pool you bathe in it and possibly swallow a bit, let's also forget all the bleach used round the house, it's a media scare story
One wonders what's in tooth pastes and mouth washes. 😁😁🤣🤣

But it’s not about the chlorine per se.
It’s about the rearing and slaughtering conditions which require these types of post slaughter processes to enable a “safe” product.
Food poisoning reports in the US are some 70 times those in the UK.

Yes large scale industrial chicken rearing, never see that inthe eu/uk or anywhere else. It's not good but is it any better this side the pond, their argument is it saves using do many drugs.
You wanted to stay in the EU and complain about press scare stories distorting the truth well this is the same.

You ignore the salient fact, that even after the USA chlorine policy, their food poisoning rate is 70 times higher than in Europe.
