EU threatens to ban UK ag and food exports to them

Majority is a word with a very specific but often misunderstood definition. Many people equate it with plurality, which is wrong but understandable.

Needless to say, a huge percentage of our trade is with the EU - much more than anywhere else, and too big a percentage to be playing games with, in my opinion.
That I agree with, but it takes two to tango and while it is governments that do these deals its companies that do the importing and exporting and consumers that buy it, those three will be the deciders of what happens,

Here is my new holland t7040 bought new last year and my new jones bedformer which arrived last month. Feel free to post any pictures of your british machinery. The reason i am here is because for whatever reasons UK farming is a closed shop that it is very difficult for people without inherited wealth to enter.

British made denby cups, lol.
We are furnishing a new flat and it's very hard to do do with all uk made stuff, especially electrical goods. UK based firms need to be far more proactive on marketing, just like food processors, there is a huge marketing opportunity that all these clever fudgeers cant seem to see.
Help the UK bounce back from covid by buying British etc etc, big union Jacks and made/grown/reared in Britian stamped on the front.
sorry miss read your post

Just curious, but what are you typing on at the minute - is it completely 100% non China parts?
Very likely Korean based as it's a Samsung and they arent keen on the chinese but expect some bits are. I expect its impossible not to buy chinese stuff but we need to try to put pressure on them to clean up their act and buy uk made stuff, where it is good quality at a fair price, we want people to buy our uk produce we need to but theirs

Although Samsung closed its last physical manufacturing plant in China, it is reported to be outsourcing about 60 million phones to China based manufacturers, plus I do not know of any of their phones that does not contain Chinese components.

So, you either stop using tech, or you cannot ignore we need China, simples.

It is not meant to be a look at me aren’t i clever reply.my Dad only bought one piece of new kit in his farming career (a Teagle cement mixer) but more of a if you want the support of the public then try and support them. The unfortunate thing is Kenya produces nothing so i choose to buy as much as i can from the people who eat some of what we produce.

Quite a few of the pilots in the Battle of Britain were polish, that fled after the invasion of Poland. 👍 and also the spitfire was renowned for stalling in mid air due to fuel starvation whilst diving 😨 You say pivotal I think lucky, thanks to the inventor of the radar system can't think of his name.... we were one step ahead

But it's wings didn't have a reputation for breaking off when pulling out of a dive like the 109. The problem of stalling in the Spitfire was solved with a restrictor device called "Miss Shillings orifice" but were only fitted in the months following the battle.

Regarding the battle no luck about it, but it wasn't' due to radar (the Germans already had far more sophisticated radar than the British), but down to Hugh Dowding's development of the Dowding system the world's first integrated air defence system, which was something the Germans had no answer to at the time.

Didn't they have a way round the stalling problem before the fix was brought in by rolling during the dive

Nope, your quote says that GDPR will add 10-15% to compliance costs, which is completely different to what you claimed above. Compliance costs are trivial compared to revenue.

I did not write the article, the original reference was regarding Companies pulling out of the EU due to complying with regulations. Mitsubishi (emissions) and those referenced in the attached document (GDPR)

I'm not sure that you even read the article! You presumably wrote post #97 though, which makes the erroneous claim of 10-15% of revenue.
