So Nige and his Russki mates were in fact Remainers. You learn something every day.
Yeah. Who needs Russia Today, when you have TFF? There’s enough play dough on here, for Putin to mould an army, with his bot farmers!

The ABWR design from GE/Hitachi was what was planned for the replacement in Wales. They reckoned on it creating 9000 jobs during construction. I would get on with it.
Yes, it is very disappointing that Covid is providing cover and smokescreen for politicians on all sides of the Brexit debate. Only this morning Ed Davey, a Liberal remainer, and yesterday Starmer, a remainer, both in interviews said the public were more interested in Covid than Brexit and the end of transition. So both of these opposition Political Party leaders are playing populism by quietly ignoring the end of transition and focusing on gobbin' on about track and trace. So the Tories and Brexit crew will get throuh this next few months by default without true accountability. Hey ho. The Tories - China Virus. Maybe the Tories and Brexiters released it from Porton Down - how about that!!!!
I think we can agree Covid has impacted the global economy a bit more than Brexit. Be realistic.
You can agree what you like young fella. To use such a phrase is presumptive and a popular diversionary tactic in conversation. And I am realistic. Covid is providing political leaders with a useful smokescreen. As I say the Tory Party and Brexiters could not have wished for better.
It will also be used as an excuse as an alternative and in addition to blaming people who never wanted brexit in the first place, and those Europeans of course, on the brexit debacle. It won't be the Leader's fault. Oh no. No way. It will be everyone and everything else's fault. You can agree what you like young fella. This is getting a bit of scorn by the usual suspects but I don't know why as it's a hell of a lot more accurate than a lot of the stuff that goes on here. The leave vote was caused by remainers since then they have tried to stop it

Thanks MS.Explain why people who just voted to maintain the status quo and a quiet life, are to blame for project fear increasingly becoming project reality?

this is what makes no sense at allBy that, you must assume everyone focuses on short term improvements by that loaded question.
Personally i'm not aware of anyone who believes it will win win from day zero, but look to the future...
What appears to be happening, is something to be expected - is that the, in your words, people who want to avoid upsetting the status quo and continue a quiet life obviously through fear of the unknown, are now trying to cash in on the short term uncertainties in a way to try and prove something...
Fill your boots is all I can say - as it is interesting reading and showing some real insights into members personas...
The people who are going to cash in are the leading Brexiters who organised the whole shameful thing for their own personal gain.Out of the EU so they can still avoid paying billions in tax. The plebs were told it was going to be win win from day zero!By that, you must assume everyone focuses on short term improvements by that loaded question.

That has nothing to do with the quote I used so I'm not wasting time to justify something completely different to it.Explain why people who just voted to maintain the status quo and a quiet life, are to blame for project fear increasingly becoming project reality?
Ok I'll attempt to answer that as you have used the relevant quote.this is what makes no sense at all
“The leave vote was caused by remainers since then they have tried to stop it”
how have leave voters contributed to something they tried to prevent
So because we didn’t do a good enough job of persuading people not to vote for Brexit (I.e. we lost the referendum) we are responsible for the crap that will occur because people voted for it?Ok I'll attempt to answer that as you have used the relevant quote.
In my opinion the remain politicians alienated voters with all the scare stories, everything from what it would cost the country to world war 3. All the things they should have focussed on, the things the voters were concerned about were ignored or dismissed and it cost them the result.
I don't think trying to stop it needs any explanation as we had all sorts of tricks to try to thwart it lasting from the referendum to Boris's victory.
That's how democracy worksSo because we didn’t do a good enough job of persuading people not to vote for Brexit (I.e. we lost the referendum) we are responsible for the crap that will occur because people voted for it?
Well according to that logic, turkeys NOT voting for Christmas will be responsible for Christmas happening. Deranged. And actually deceitfulThat's how democracy works
