So their scientists are wrong?

Their politicians are wrong.
It's not going to work out well locking down the unvaccinated either morally or practically.

And getting businesses to close at 6pm or the like will make diddly difference.

For a lockdown to be effective they almost have to be total, or nothing, there isn`t really a halfway house.
