Euphemisms

Being rather tired of the liberal-left thought police telling everyone else what to think and say, how about a list of euphemisms that people find most irritating? Liberal-lefties are welcome to comment too, I'm sure they have their own dislikes, such as 'patriot' in place of 'racist'. Here are some of mine to start the list:

'Migrant' in place of 'Illegal immigrant'

'Died' in place of 'Committed suicide'

'Competence' in place of 'Sovereignty'

'Feisty' in place of 'Obnoxious'

'Progressive' in place of 'Marxist'

'Sub-Saharan' in place of 'Black'

Anything that happened between 1932-45 is always now attributed to a breed called Nazi's never Germans.
Everyone is now a "survivor" no matter how trivial or inconsequential the crime or act.
Both good, I'd overlooked the German one, it irritates me too, I'm not sure why but when I mention it I get called 'anti-German', and not an historical pedant.

Some of the Germans of 1932-45 were also Nazis. The Nazi parties rise to power was a result of an election where they gained around 40% of the popular vote, followed by being swept along by the tub thumping rhetoric of the party leader with promises of a better future for the superior race ( sounds familiar). The Germans of the present day are quite different.
To class the present day German citizens as similar to their predecessors is not only wrong it is also racist (two world wars and one world cup?).

Christ on a bike.
How dumb are you?
Given the right circumstances, they could flip in a heartbeat.
Same as any.

You really do set yourself up as a tw*t of note sometimes. Nothing in either my or @Muck Spreader's posts refer to the current population of Germany. What we referred to is the historical revisionism that is being touted a lot, that being to specifically avoid the historical fact that Germany (that's the country of the Germans) was the principal national belligerent in Europe during the Second World War, not its Nazi Party.
