How long before the majority realise the enemy within are Liberals ?

Immigration, terrorism, Billionaires tax avoidance, millions of job losses, Climate taxes whilst China uses dirty coal .. the writing is on the wall.

No matter how much propaganda in the mainstream media eventually the truth is going to hit home like a brick sh@t house hitting you from space .. most politcians are the enemy.

Time to vote them out.

I would have thought that is obvious.

Ordinary normal people.
Yes but its a closed shop and lets face it tory selection committees are full of blue rinse brigade who knowl ittle about life outside the golf club and labour ones are full of militant lefties now so "normal" folks with genuine wish to do whats right are never going to get selected, just look at local councillors most a bunch who like the sound of their own voice but couldnt run a pee up in a brewery

The referendum was a moment in the sun for ordinary people, but lets be clear it will never be alowed to happen again.

The disruption it has caused for those in charge will not be tolerated for long, JRM and his mob want chaos to make profit- they wont get it. Corybn wants to facilitate a far left economy which can only be delivered via a hard brexit - he wont get it.

I listen to many folks like wanton and others talking about the people making decisions and things changing. Problem is there is no one to vote for outside of the main parties. The core Tory heartlands will vote for a gatepost provided its got a blue rosette.

Truth is the great unwashed who voted in the referendum will never be allowed a say in anything ever again. The controls via local political parties about who gets elected as a PM have become even tighter on all sides.

Stange how the UKs largest exercise in democracy has removed any chance for people to have any real say in how this country is run.

We all lost no doubt about that, this is no country to live on if you are poor and it will get worse, our economy is smoke and mirrors built on minimum wage, zero hours, under supply of housing and consumers- our productivity is shocking compared to most of the EU. Half of our workforce does not have the skills or education to drive a digital economy and no one is going to invest in those folks because there is no benefit to the JRMs of he world (please note when JRM talks about brexit all he mentions is cheaper food shoes and clothes not education training or opportunity)

So to all of you who voted remain or leave - we are now well and truly being shackled to a poorer future.

I fail to understand what the Tories or Labour have got to do with anything

I used to work in IT worldwide.

I read this rubbish and think you're an idiot.

The main business language is English worldwide. Not French, not German, not Chinese, not Indian ..

UK IT professionals run IT worldwide .. and have been for decades.

But you're so backward you don't even realise it .. the chips in most mobile phones ? designed in the UK.

You haven't got a clue.

I said many weeks ago; never give such an important decision to the public. Generally they don’t have enough information to make a rational decision. All the arguememts that have surfaced in the last few months in particular should have been on the table in Spring 2016. DC called it wrong! He was sure remain would win fairly easily.

What has the above got to do with who runs the UK? Well the Tories or Labour will be dictating how you live your life for the foreseeable.

Not sure how we jumped to global IT?

Global IT is actually dictated by Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, SAP, Oracle none of which originate in the UK and yes there are a lot of UK IT professionals around the world but there are a sh!t load more yanks and Chinese. Claiming we run it is rubbish but no doubt you have a "statistic" that states (but not proves) this.

I work in IT globally but what would i know?

Just a bit of "data" on new IT skills
850,00 Ai professionals in the US
140,000 Ai professionals in the UK

Its about 10 to 1 against the US in IT Professionals. Roll in the rest of the world and its about 50 to 1.

I will take a reasoned argument on stuff i hope i have an understanding of. I will not put out statements or numbers that have no reasonable basis or hard data to support them.

I will not get embroiled in a rally between you and Yacker but will make a comment about the business language of the world being English. Concurr.

But that is an advantage to anyone who is not British and a disadvantage to Britons. As everyone else will often have a better grasp of English than Britons and they have a second language. I have no idea of IT but do no about labour driving machinery and picking veg around the Fens. English widely spoken - well and often more grammarically correct than the locals and written too. I have told my children and several youngsters for past 10 years or more they face tremendous competition in the world.

Ending free movement of EU citizens will make beggar all difference in my opinion. Will be replaced by non EU instead. Brits will be hacked off in five years or so when they realise the Leave vote did not protect them as they thought from immigrants. Hey ho there you go. Will not know for several years yet.

Cheers, keep up the rally!
