Evanza milking cluster

Nice design, speed and ease of liner change, but £££!
Is it worth the dollars though? More to it than just ease of changing they say, more milk possibly, faster milking. They make those claims with all new designs it seems though. The concept is very intriguing to me, changing liners is nobody’s favourite job so it always gets pushed off. This would be definitely easier and half as often.

I can see if you have a parlour working most of the day the Evanza claw would be a blessing as liner “cassettes” can be changed in seconds, they also apparently last twice as long. If not then I’d say they are too expensive for the benefits, even though I hate changing Harmony liners.

My cousin got to try 2 clusters for a week that his dealer sent him. He said he loved them, very light and easy to attach with virtually no slippage. Haven't been speaking to him since to ask him the price but what concerned him was that while the cartridges were easy to change the short milk tube needed changing every other time the cartridge was changed and hes not sure how time consuming that was.

My dealer showed me, it just screws in, about 5 seconds total!

does the short milk tube also contain the outershell as one piece or can you screw the short milk tube into both the claw bowl and the liner shell?
It’s two piece. I just looked on YouTube, short milk tube and outer shell are one.
Correction it’s actually 3 pieces, cartridge, liner and tube, liner and tube connect with a half turn, tube to claw with half turn.

We bit the bullet and are going to put them in. We were told $450 CAD per unit. Time will tell if the price is worth it, if they perform as well as they say, and talking to the test farms they do. Then it pays back for us in 2 months.
