EVENT: [Oct 12, 2019] British National Ploughing Championships & Country Festival (Lincolnshire)

This amazing event is held in a different part of the country each year and we are delighted to be invited back to Lincolnshire by Beeswax Dyson Farming.

There will be around 250 of the country's top ploughmen and women competing over the two days, but it’s not just about ploughing! For farmers, it has demonstrations of the most up-to-date farm machinery and an extensive trade stand area; and for the family it offers a rare glimpse of how farming has changed over the past 300 years – with magnificent heavy horses, many styles of vintage tractors & equipment, and steam ploughing engines all working in one field. Shopping stalls and country crafts will complete your visit.

There will be plenty of food outlets, car parking is free, admission is £10 per adult or £5 per child over 11. Under 11s are free.

For more information, telephone 01302 852469 see www.ploughmen.co.uk or find SocietyofPloughmen on Facebook or @ploughmen_ltd on Twitter.
