I am looking for a venue for an outdoor weekend festival in 2025 with the theme of ‘Peace, Love, Kindness and great Music’.

Hi Spin Cycle, I understand your comments but I wonder if we could at least discuss? The concept of the festival would be very enviro-friendly to include clearing rubbish. These are all fair points to make however we are in the early stages of planning and at this point can only ask for expressions of interest. It's difficult to estimate attendance however we do want significant space as we envisage zones for stalls including Spirit, Enviro and Community and anticipate quite a large take up for them. We would be happy with quite a small attendance in the first year and plan to keep prices low. It would be run on a not-for-profit basis intended to raise spirits in these difficult times and encourage the growth of positive attitudes. We are considering perhaps making it alcohol free. We would prefer to work with owners who, roughly speaking, like the general idea.

Heard a lot of people try to set these up, aiming for woodstock 1969 but probably end up with the 1999 version

These things start off poorly. Then build up to being somthing half decent then it goes too far and get too big and popular and unmanageable. That's over a few years mind!

I’d want £30k up-front as a deposit! Then I would start negotiations.
