I use davidson ewe lac and then davidsons super ewe. IIRC carrs do a feed that looks better on paper but i thinks sheep do better on the davidsons stuff. If it wasnt in a roll and a blend you could make better feed cheaper but it would be harder too feed.

Not often it lists the % of each ingredient.

That's from the spec sheet they sent me for all of their sheep diets. The ticket with each delivery just has the spec and the normal list of ingredients is order of inclusion.

I always ask for the % inclusion rates, before I will consider ordering. If they won't tell me that, I'm not interested in doing business tbh.

Interesting to see calcium carbonate at 1.5% which is obviously enough to supply the calcium needed or they'd add more. So when you see other rations with soya included below calcium on the ingredient list you know it's only there to have it written on the label.

Molasses is usually in at about 5% too, so when soya is below that on the list, it gives a guide as to a lower inclusion rate.

I usually use the 5% molasses guide. It was interesting to see the calcium rate.
The ration on top/right with soya below calcium ?.
