Ewe passing water

I’ve a bunch of ewes inside ready to lamb in couple of weeks . A couple of them are pooing what looks like dirty water it’s not what I’d call scours, they’ve gone very lethargic and won’t come to eat . They’re on silage and cake , not like they’ve had much cake and got acidosis , any ideas ? Could it be rumen full of silage , anything I can do to get them going again ?

If it's acidosis, you could dose with Sodium Bicarbonate. An anti inflammatory plus antibiotic won't do any harm.

When were they last dosed? There is a possibility that it might be Black scour (trichostrongylus worms)? Although the scour is normally a bit thicker than your description.

Before Xmas , it’s not really a scour at all , in fact if you didn’t look properly you would just assume they were peeing , only when look closely see which hole it’s coming out of.

Have you anywhere you can tip them outside? Shot of anti inflammatory and AB and get them outside. Let them wander about quietly, it’s amazing how it brings them around
