First time I have come across this. Her lambs can't hook the test into their mouths, suck fine if I do it for them..... Any suggestions? Many thanks
Particularly when lambing outside, this is a worse problem than birth difficulties IMO. The work it causes can be ongoing at a busy time.
I kept few blue texel cross replacements and have never seen such teats on a shearling, big bag which is great and but teats bigger than cow teats right to the end.. thought the lambs were managing but have seen one side blown right up so the lambs must be drinking from one side now have to bring her back in with lambs but whether out can be done now i dont know she's been lambed week.
