Hello, I have a ewe with twins and 1 has orf and the ewe also has a tiny bit on her nipple. I have separated her from the other ewes and lambs...only 3 ewes and no other signs of it yet. she seem to be okay the first few days but she hasn't eaten the food I gave to her and she has had a snotty nose for a while before lambing but it seemed to be bloody today and not sure what it is.
This is my first time lambing my sheep so all very new!! Be glad of anyone's thoughts.

Nasal bots would be my first guess. I had a similar looking one this week. Gave her and all the others in her a group a closantel drench.

Not had bloody snot before but I would ask your vet for a jag of antibiotic for it in case of secondary infection. Also get a salt lick eg Rockie in to them, it helps keep orf at bay. Once they've had it they're immune.

Possibly she has an orf lesion inside her nose?
