ewes tender on feet

Had couple of ewes go off there legs, could just about get them to stand but very tender on all 4 feet/legs.
My only cause is that 3 days ago they broke there electric on got onto some fairly fresh dairy ground. no fert or anything. Could it be like laminitis with horses?

no its not scald. see plenty of that to know its not!

what did you give them? one of them is up at the mo, the other looks totally fine in herself but wont stand. got them in the barn on some straw so there not laying in the wet outside. feed wise there is 72 in this group and they only got 3 lifeline buckets and get a token about of feed, 15kgs to keep them tame to move.

sounds like acidosis , any grain near (pheasant feeders could be issue) if so good drench with bicarb and cross fingers
