Excel chart help

Please can someone help me before I lose all my sanity.

I need to make this chart:

Look like this:

Please can you tell me how the heck I get them to match, given that the values used to generate both should be identical? I think the difference is in the scales which I can't get to work for love nor money.

Thanks in advance.

Click chart you have made to make it active. This should bring up chart tools at the top. Format axis will bring up options, click more at the bottom, and alter the axis values.
Come back if this does not work and I will have another think.

1/6, 1/3, 1 but 1/3 is placed 2/3 or the distance between 0 and 1.. ah I see, Graph 2 isn’t a linear axis, it’s a list of categories Might as well read red, blue and green...

What’s you table look like?

The cheat way is to alter the values on your chart by typing new figures on the main sheet until it looks like the other chart. As the charts alter "live" you should see what figures you need so that the charts match. Yes, it is cheating, but you dont need the values next to the dots....

I may have got what you want totally wrong, but just for the future or for anyone else who is stuck, when you highlight the figures you need for the chart, highlight the first (usually the data labels) and then hold down CTRL and highlight the figures. This enables you to skip a column or line and select just the data you want to use.
