The marketing muscle of Kelloggs et al is very much responsible for the state of the western worlds diet and health.
Oh most definitely. John Kellogg was one of the founding fathers of veganism with his book "The Natural diet of Man". And his work is carried on though his religious group the Seventh-day Adventist church, which fund huge amounts of anti-meat research and propaganda to this day. And if you want a link to Hitler, Kellogg was a keen exponent of eugenics and racial superiority.

im a keen marathon runner, and have started running ultras this year. I'm amazed how many of the top endurance runners are vegan, easily 1/3 -1/2 of the top 10 100 mile race winners are vegan. its really pushed in all the running books and you tube videos.
I suppose its just the fact that a high Carbohydrate vegan diet will give your body a large but short term sugar boost and therefore more energy.

And also the reason that most Americans are circumcised (apparently he thought it would stop wanking)....

Riddle me this. It is considered AOK to circumcise male infants in most countries but doing the same to a woman is defined as illegal in most as well?

Er ... have you actually seen photos of FGM, Ollie? Have you compared an anatomical diagram with any photos of FGM?
Please do ~ and then consider how many more nerves there are in a woman's clitoris than there are in a man's penis.

Do you think it helps them? I went to school with a guy that does some serious long distance, often mountainous running, he has become a vegan to save the planet and for health reasons, he also posted a picture of him bbq’ing some impossible meat burgers a while ago 🤪🤯

The equivalent act for a female would be to remove the clitoral hood and possibly some or all of the labial tissues, whereas most forms of FGM generally involve a clitorectomy as a minimum - the equivalent for a male would be removal of the penis.

I believe that they also almost completely sew up the vaginal entrance. It is a very cruel and abhorrent practice done by pigmy-brained barbarians, both male and female.

What happens when the Broccoli decides it want to self identify as a bacon sarnie?
plants have feelings, and we mustn't upset them, they must be recommended to attend the relevant therapy class, run by ###########who have been taught to help them find the 'right' course, to steer, on there way to a pan of boiling water. This, sorts all their problems out.

How many of them have been vegan all their lives? It's all very well going vegan for a while. Difficult to keep it going though.

It isn't a practice I have any familiarity with, but it strikes me as being somehow intrinsically wrong to do surgery on the genitalia of either males or females. Both tissues will be well connected with a lot of nervous tissue so surgery on either strikes me as being harmful. It never occurred to me until recently that society considers it AOK to do to one sex but it is understandably illegal in the other.

Trust me Ollie, there is not the slightest comparison. The aim of FGM is purely and simply to remove women's pleasure from sex. In some quarters the poor girl is sewn up so it is distinctly painful, particularly for the first time.
It is also far more dangerous to the victim , properly done the removal of the foreskin is both painless and has little risk ofinfection. FGM can involve the removal of the bulk of the skin around the vulva.
