Explosion in Beruit

Best prepare for the backlash and kneejerk reaction of likely new regulations whipped up when the DM runs an article telling folks of the life threatening risk they have in their village at Home Farm....where 25t of Nitram or Lithan is being kept...….let alone the residents of Cheshire and Teeside where 100,000's tonnes of the stuff is made and stored...….
Seem to remember the Oklahoma bomb which killed 100's was made with just 600kgs of AN- deadly stuff in the wrong hands or as seems yesterday, in the wrong place at the wrong time.

AN was banned in Ireland many years ago and ag used urea.

Used AN and diesel in Australia for getting rid of bunny borrows.....you really don't need a lot for a big bang!

Although this doesn't seem like a terrorist attack, you can tighten the regulations on AN etc as much as you like and they will find a way to create havoc. Take the Twin towers attack, no bomb, just a few that believe they are doing it for "good".
The mind is the deadliest weapon.

There must have been some power to create the mushroom shock wave. Only see that with massive forces. I saw on Twitter someone filming 10km away and the power and noise set off car alarms! So shocking.
