US export sales to China have continued to add underlying support to oilseeds and grains.
Wheat / Barley
FranceAgriMer has cut French soft wheat exports to non-eu countries to 6.6MT, down from 13.46MT last year.
Unlike corn, US wheat export sales have not exceeded expectations. Weekly US net sales of 335,.7KT for 2020/2021 were down 31% from the previous week and 42% from the prior 4-week average. Exports of 564KT were down 22% from the previous week, but up 2% from the prior 4-week average.
Corn / Maize
Providing further support to US corn has been continued export sales to China beating expectations. Net sales of 1.609MT for 2020/2021 were primarily for unknown destinations (360KT), but China accounted for 359.7KT.
Further export sales have continued to provide support today,120KT of corn for delivery to unknown destinations being made for the 2020/2021 marketing year.
Oilseeds & Oil
US soybeans have received further export sales support, again due to sales to China.
Weekly net sales of 2.457MT for 2020/2021 were primarily for China 1.487MT, while exports of 1.7338MT were primarily to China (1.089MT),
Further export sales today of 264KT of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2020/2021 marketing year and 360.5KT of soybeans for delivery to unknown destinations has added further support.
